The Special Collections Centre is located on the lower ground floor of The Sir Duncan Rice Library. Please see the campus map for locations and directions to the library.
Access to the lower ground floor is by the stairs or lift by the Welcome Desk on the ground floor, you will need your library card or Access Pass to pass through the gates at the Welcome Desk.

If you do not hold a University or library card and wish to visit the Wolfson Reading Room to consult materials please register for an Access Pass.
You can register in person at the self-registration PC by the Welcome Desk on the ground floor, before you go down the stairs to the Reading Room, or online in advance of your visit. Please let Welcome Desk staff know that you will be visiting the Wolfson Reading Room.
To register online please follow this link here to the Self Registration online form. When you arrive, please let Welcome Desk staff that you have pre-registered. They will ask for your photographic proof of ID and proof of address to complete your registration.
*Please note, whether you register in person or online, photographic ID and proof of address will be required.
All visitors to the Reading Room are also asked to sign our Readers' Register and provide home address or university details on each visit.
